FIELD: information-measuring systems; rail vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information-measuring systems used in railway machines with a contactless reading device for determining the position of sleepers, as well as a device for measuring the distance travelled by the machine and a control device for centring the working device, and can be used for contactless reading of position of sleepers and determination of track coordinates of their centre. Device comprises a contactless reading device and a distance measuring device, an analogue-to-digital converter, a first subtractor, a control device, first and second digital matched filters, random access memory, first and second threshold devices, first and second units for calculating the count number of the local maximum, a second subtractor and a unit for calculating the track coordinate of the centre of the sleeper.
EFFECT: reduced probability of false triggering at difference of average level of crushed stone between sleepers from the level of their upper surfaces by no more than 2-3 cm.
