FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: method for determining the position of rail track sleepers is based on obtaining measurements of the distance d in the vertical direction between the machine and the crushed stone or sleeper, while to register the start and end points of the sleeper, two digital filters F1 and F2 are used, the impulse characteristics of which are selected in such a way that are mirror reflections of the expected time realizations of the distance meter signal d for sections 1) “crushed stone-sleeper” and 2) “sleeper-crushed stone”, respectively, according to information about the speed of the machine with a priori known width of the sleeper, the average distance between sleepers and the sampling frequency Fd of the signal non-contact distance meter d. A signal with a subtracted a priori known distance to the sleeper in the vertical direction Dsl is supplied to the input of digital matched filters F1 and F2, and for signals from the outputs of filters F1 and F2, a search is made for points of local maxima exceeding the threshold Zthr, and the corresponding ones are determined moments of time t1 and t2 of passage over the points of the beginning and end of the sleeper. Next, using the information from the device for measuring distance when registering the path s(t) travelled by the machine, the current path coordinates of the start and end points of the sleeper R1=s(t1) and R2=s(t2) are estimated and the path coordinate of the centre is calculated from them sleepers Rslc=0.5(R1+R2). The sleeper boundary detection threshold is set using the Neyman-Pearson criterion based on the acceptable level of probability of false detections of sleeper boundaries.
EFFECT: high probability of correctly detecting sleeper boundaries.
