FIELD: lighter-than-air aircraft.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aeronautics, particularly, to lighter-than-air aircraft. Disclosed is an airship comprising a hull filled with cylinders with gas lighter than air and formed by a shell and frames made in the form of elastic strips, the ends of which are connected to form a closed circuit. Wherein airship comprises outer carcass made up of inner and outer stiffeners jointed by horizontal and vertical stiffeners, the carcass is located along the bow and sides of the hull. At that, frames at equal distances are attached in lower-side part of hull to internal ribs, and external ribs are located along tangents to hull. Airship is additionally covered with a shell attached to the frames in the upper and lower parts of the body, as well as to the outer ribs of the carcass. At that, shell is made with tension and forms outer surface of carcass, horizontal and vertical ribs form at least one deck and bulkheads, as well as underdeck space, which is carrying main part of load for displacement of centre of gravity to lower part of airship.
EFFECT: providing the strength of the airship, improving the aerodynamic characteristics of the airship, optimizing the internal volume of the body to accommodate a larger number of cylinders with gas while maintaining the overall dimensions of the airship, increased space for accommodation of payload, including passengers, cargoes and process equipment, as well as possibility of landing both on ground and on water.
