FIELD: railways.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway transport, to technological sites for servicing transport. Extending platform for transport service consists of bearing frame, flooring, retractable platform, mechanism of sliding platform movement, system of linear movement and group of mechanical transmissions. Retractable platform movement mechanism contains at least two transmission shafts, each of which is connected through couplings to the drive shaft installed inside the geared motor, and each linear movement system is installed in a spacer made in the form of U-shaped parts, each of which is installed inside the space of the bearing frame parallel to its short edge.
EFFECT: improved manufacturability at simultaneous servicing of two vehicles, since availability of at least two retractable platforms on one bearing frame enables to work with two vehicles simultaneously.
