FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dentistry and can be used in treating superficial caries with a defect of hard tissues within the enamel. Soft dental deposit is removed from the tooth surface for 1 minute with an abrasive paste based on silicon dioxide and zirconium silicate with RDA of not less than 120-150. Kinetic preparation of the carious defect is carried out at a distance of two millimetres from the tooth surface with a Rondoflex blaster and a powder with aluminium oxide particles sized 27 mcm and performing air-abrasive processing of surface of hard tissues for 15 seconds. Working field is isolated with a latex dam. Surface of hard tissues is washed off with water for 5 seconds, enamel is dried by air jet from air/water syringe for 5 seconds, and applying on the enamel a gel based on 37% solution of orthophosphoric acid with dynamic activation for 30 seconds. Gel is washed off from the enamel with water for 15 seconds, and the enamel is dried with an air jet from a air/water syringe to a chalky shade. Universal adhesive system containing 10-methacryloyloxydecyldihydrogen phosphate is applied on the enamel with an exposure time of 20 seconds using an applicator with diameter of 1.2 mm. Adhesive is evenly distributed on defect walls. Adhesive is polymerised for 20 seconds with the light of an activating lamp with a light flux of 1,000 mW/cm, and a packed composite filling material is introduced into the carious defect, preheated to 55, which is rubbed in to solid tissues. Then propanediol-1-2-3-based gel is applied on unpolymerized surface, gel is polymerized for 30 seconds, gel is washed off with water for 20 seconds. Tooth surface is ground with diamond-coated finishing burs, excess composite material is removed, the insulation system is removed and occlusion is checked with articulation paper with thickness of 40 mcm and 8 mcm, respectively. Then tooth surface is polished with silicone polishers with abrasiveness of 125, 70, 32 mcm.
EFFECT: method enables to ensure and preserve operational properties of the restoration in the long term due to preparation of solid tissues for application of universal adhesive, as well as due to use of pre-heated composite filling material for restoration of defects.
