FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to anticorrosion materials based on volatile corrosion inhibitors and can be used to protect ferrous metals and articles made from them against atmospheric corrosion during transportation and storage, in particular for protecting the inner surface of pipes, connecting parts of pipelines and valves during storage. Anti-corrosive material based on a volatile corrosion inhibitor includes a volatile corrosion inhibitor and silica gel. Volatile corrosion inhibitor contains, wt.%: 11-13 of monoethanolamine, 10-11 of boric acid, 0.3-0.4 of copper, silica gel up to 100.
EFFECT: high corrosion resistance of articles made from ferrous metals under conditions of high humidity and temperature, as well as when exposed to salt fog.
