FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection of metals from atmospheric corrosion using inhibitors and can be used for temporary protection against corrosion of products from ferrous and nonferrous metals, as well as parts of machines and equipment during their transportation and storage. Inhibitor contains product of condensation of boric acid, diisopropanolamine and phthalic acid in molar ratio 1:(2-3):1 respectively, benzotriazole and reaction product of glycidyl methacrylate and boric acid in molar ratio of 0.5:1 in the following ratio, wt. %: product of condensation of boric acid, diisopropanolamine and phthalic acid 80.0-90.0, benzotriazole 8.0-19.0, reaction product of glycidyl methacrylate and boric acid 1.0-2.0.
EFFECT: improving protective efficiency and operational properties of inhibitor, as well as enlarging of range of national metal corrosion inhibitors.
