FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heavy machine building and is intended for use in high-temperature vacuum electric furnaces. Hearth support for high-temperature vacuum elevator, shaft, horizontal and bell-type furnaces consists of a central bearing rod made with water cooling and conditionally divided into upper and lower parts. At that, the upper part is surrounded by several coaxially arranged with a gap cylinders fixed on the rod by means of the upper and lower separating belts, and the outer one of the coaxially located cylinders is made with multilayer screen thermal insulation and is equipped with a shell with washers interacting with the furnace thermal insulation screens inside the furnace thermal block housing. At the same time the lower part is equipped with water cooling branch pipes and is made with possibility of vertical adjustment of the support due to movable vacuum seal in the branch pipe welded into the furnace housing and having a coupling nut for support adjustment.
EFFECT: wider range of cooled supports of high-temperature vacuum electric furnaces, which provide: the required bearing capacity when the temperature in the working zone increases; reduction of heat losses from the working area due to increase in the support thermal resistance; possibility to adjust the support in height.
