FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to cermet alloys with metal binder. It can be used for production of parts of power engineering facilities, for example, compressors, internal combustion engines, obtained including slurry casting and coating technologies. Current-conducting structural metal-ceramic material contains a metal matrix and ceramic particles placed in it, which are selected from a group consisting of carbides, borides, silicides and nitrides of metals. Size of the ceramic particles is determined by the ratio: 3 h ≤ d ≤ 6 h, where d is the average size of the ceramic particle of the material of the part, mcm, and h is the etching depth of the metal matrix of the material, mcm.
EFFECT: increasing the workability and quality of the treated surface by reducing its roughness.
