FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiac surgery. Plication of the commissure zone is performed by stitching with a U-suture with two Teflon gaskets, wherein the lower suture of the U-suture is carried out at the level of the fibrous ring of the aortic valve with the intercommissural zone being pulled up, and the second suture is led from the commissure to the commissure. Performing this manipulation in one or those commissures, where after decalcification the base of interfuscular triangle is increased, development of patient-prosthetic mismatch and/or paravalvular fistulas is prevented.
EFFECT: method enables to prevent implantation into a fibrous ring dilated after decalcification of a sutureless aortic valve prosthesis of the size that does not correspond to the patient’s height and weight.
