FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for the production of an aerosol precursor composition. First, an aqueous solution is obtained, containing one or more organic acids and nicotine in water. Then, the specified aqueous solution is combined with one or more vapor generators to obtain an aerosol precursor composition. After combination, the aerosol precursor composition is included in an aerosol delivery device, wherein the aqueous solution contains at least one of organic acids in the given amount, and the aerosol precursor composition contains at least one organic acid in the final amount, which is 75% or more of the given amount.
EFFECT: disclosed method leads to improved control of a composition and characteristics of the resulting aerosol precursor composition.
