FIELD: railways.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices used on railway transport, and can be used for securing trains on station tracks. Stop for securing a railway train comprises rail pads fixed on the rail necks, supports fixed on the rail pads, two-arm levers with brake shoes on the upper arms, pivotally connected to the supports; lever mechanism having a double-arm lever connected by drive rods to the brake shoe double-arm levers and mounted on the bracket with the possibility of being rotated through a working angle; drive with output link connected by drive rods with double-arm levers. Longitudinal axes of drive rods, longitudinal axes of symmetry of arms of double-arm lever and longitudinal axis of output link of drive are located in one vertical plane. Brackets with double-arm lever of lever mechanism are fixed on rail pad inside rail track. Initial angles between the longitudinal axes of symmetry of each arm of the double-arm lever of the lever mechanism and the vertical line are in range of 30-60° and the working angle of the double-arm lever of the lever mechanism is in range of 85-90°.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the brake shoe drive mechanism for securing a train.
