FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing chromium (III) acetylacetonate. Proposed method includes the following stages: a) obtaining a solution of chromium (III) acetylacetonate by adding acetylacetone to an aqueous solution of 6-aqueous chromium chloride with intense stirring and temperature of 40-50 °C, at molar ratio of chromium chloride 6-aqueous to acetylacetone 1:3-1:5, subsequent addition of aqueous solution of sodium bicarbonate at temperature of 70-80 °C to obtain a solution with pH=7; b) obtaining a precipitate of chromium (III) acetylacetonate while heating the solution obtained at step a), at temperature 70-80 °C for 1 hour and subsequent cooling to room temperature and c) filtering the precipitate with subsequent washing with water.
EFFECT: high output of chromium (III) acetylacetonate.
