FIELD: hand tools.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hand-held crimping tongs (1), having fixed and movable handles (4, 5) of the tongs, as well as first and second crimping jaws (20, 21), wherein first crimping jaw (20) is under the pressure of driving punch (24). First and second crimping jaws (20, 21) are equipped with ribs (27) partially inserted into each other like a comb, which, when viewed in the direction of insertion of cable (14) equipped with crimping element (16) into crimping hole (18), are made in the form triangle, wherein in the unloaded main position a rectangular in the horizontal projection crimping mouth (28) is obtained, second crimping jaw (21) is movable in seat (19) for crimping jaws (20, 21) of manual tongs (1) back against the force of spring (29), and first and second crimping jaws (20, 21) are located in one common linear guide.
EFFECT: implementation of the possibility of crimping.
