FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental medicine, namely to psychophysiology, and can be used to study the severity of aggressive behaviour in emotional stress. In the test chamber, an even number of rats is fixed by the tail opposite each other. Rats are placed at such a distance as to provide their physical contact, which enables to carry out mutual attacks when both in a horizontal position and when performing stands. Severity of aggressive behaviour is determined by motor activity of rats, which is manifested in amplitude and frequency of tail movements, which are recorded using sensors.

EFFECT: method enables objective research of aggressive behaviour under conditions of emotional stress, does not require slaughter of tested animals.
