SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and veterinary medicine and aims at determining motile sperm cells in diluted and frozen-thawed sperm of brood rams and bulls. Freshly obtained native or thawed frozen sperm is obtained, diluted; A counting chamber consisting of 4 sectors A, B, C, D with a counting grid is prepared. Chamber is filled with the analyzed sample: on a counting grid consisting of 100 squares with area of 0.1 × 0.1 mm, a drop of sperm is applied and covered with a cover glass, the number of sperm cells is counted in ten squares. Concentration of spermatozoa in the biological fluid is determined, mln/ml; video recording of three video clips from three fields is performed for 1 s.
