FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to reproductive medicine, andrology and assisted reproductive technologies, and can be used to assess the quality of the ejaculate by the content of individual spermatozoa in it with a high level of hydroxymethylation of DNA. To do this, fix spermatozoa on the slides and detect the content of hydroxymethylated DNA by immunofluorescence, at same time, at least 5,000 individual spermatozoa are evaluated. Norm is the share of spermatozoa with hydroxymethylated DNA, not exceeding 0.5 % of the total number of spermatozoa analyzed.
EFFECT: invention provides accurate differential diagnosis of male infertility.
