SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. A three-port vitrectomy is performed, the vitreous body is removed, the posterior cortical layers of the vitreous body are excised, a perfluorinated compound (PFC) is introduced. Endolaser coagulation of the retina is performed, and the PFC is replaced with silicone oil. The valve is therein removed from the port distanced from the port for introducing SO after the endolaser coagulation of the retina, and the PFC is replaced with SO.
EFFECT: method allows for complete silicone oil tamponade of the vitreal cavity, maintained stable depth of the anterior chamber, and reduction in the duration of surgery.
