FIELD: formation of images.
SUBSTANCE: electric signal initiation unit is installed on the cartridge subassembly. Cartridge is detachably located on the main body of the image forming apparatus. Image forming device has a cavity for accommodation, a conducting unit, a matching unit and an electric signal response unit. Subassembly is configured to be coupled with the matching unit when the cartridge is installed in a predetermined position in the accommodation cavity. Electrical signal initiation unit is configured to electrically connect to the conductive unit and to initiate the electrical signal response unit to obtain a predetermined response signal, when the electric signal initiation unit is installed on the cartridge assembly and the cartridge is installed in a predetermined position in the accommodation cavity. Predetermined response signal is configured to determine whether the installation of the cartridge meets the requirements.
EFFECT: improved development and quality of the image with simultaneous absence of confusion when installing cartridges.
