FIELD: printing.

SUBSTANCE: present disclosure relates to the technical field of printing equipment and, in particular, to an adapter, a cartridge, a cartridge assembly and to an image forming device. Adapter is installed on cartridge located on main housing of image forming device with possibility of its detachment. Main housing has a first conductive contact and a protective structure. Protective structure is located on the rear frame of the main housing. Protective structure has protective element. When the cartridge is not inserted into the main body, the protective element is in the first position, which protects the first conductive contact. Cartridge has a housing, an accommodation part and a second conducting contact. Accommodation part is arranged on the housing. Second conducting contact is used for electric connection with the first conducting contact. Adapter has a pressure element which is used to interact with the protective structure.

EFFECT: providing reliable contact between the conductive contacts of the toner cartridge and the main housing, improving ease of use, as well as avoiding incorrect operation of the image forming apparatus.
