FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: provided is a Coriolis flow meter. Coriolis flow meter (5) comprises: flow pipelines (103A, 103B); measuring transducers containing control signal generator (104) and measuring strain gauges (105, 105') connected to flow pipelines (103A and 103B); meter electronic circuits (20) configured to drive control signal generator (104) in order to vibrate flow pipelines (103A, 103B) in a first bending mode and receive signals from measuring strain gauges (105, 105'); wherein electronic circuits (20) of the meter are configured to indicate the presence of an external magnetic field if a magnetic field is detected, wherein the presence of the external magnetic field is indicated when at least one of the voltage step change or voltage surge is detected in the signal provided by at least one of the measuring transducers.

EFFECT: invention discloses equipment and a method for quantitative determination of the external magnetic field of a Coriolis flow meter.
