SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology, orthopaedics, neurology, surgery. An electrocardiogram (ECG) is recorded before the operation in anaesthesia in a prone position. A dynamic series of values of the time interval between adjacent cardiac contractions (RR intervals) is formed, which are displayed in the form of a rhythmocardiogram (RCG). Spectral analysis of the rhythmocardiogram is carried out, the results of which are used to estimate the ratio of low-frequency (LF) and high-frequency (HF) components of the total spectrum power. Similarly, ECG is recorded and LF/HF values are evaluated during the operation. If the LF/HF ratio decreases by 50% relative to the preoperative values, the position of the transpedicular screws is changed or the degree of scoliosis correction is reduced until the preoperative LF/HF values are achieved. After correction of spinal deformity is completed, control ECG is recorded, LF/HF is assessed, and if necessary, degree of spinal deformity correction and/or position of transpedicular screws is changed until LF/HF is not less than preoperative values.

EFFECT: method is non-invasive, easy to use, reduces the risk of neurological complications in the intra- and postoperative periods by assessing the sympathetic and parasympathetic links of the autonomic nervous system.
