FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used for intraoperative diagnostics of neurological complications in operation on spine. For this purpose before operation sensors of digital thermograph with scale division accuracy not less than 0.1°C are fixed on posterior surface of ankles skin. Measurements of skin temperature are carried out before operation. Measurements are continued to be carried out each 5 minutes after operation beginning and until its full completion. If skin temperature increases by 0.5°C and higher, conclusion about development of neurologic complications resulting from spinal marrow injury during surgery on spine is made.

EFFECT: method makes it possible quickly at early stages intraoperatively to detect neurological complications resulting from disturbance of functional integrity of nervous system, which makes it possible to change surgery tactics and eliminate identified disturbances in due time.
