SUBSTANCE: invention relates to herbicides and more specifically relates to a class of substituted isoxazoline-containing aromatic compounds. Disclosed is a compound of formula (I), where Q is ; Y is halogen; Z is halogen; Q₁, Q₂, Q₃ each independently represents O or S; R₁, R₂ each independently represents C1-C6 alkyl; X₁, X₂ each independently represents hydrogen; X₃ is halogen, formyl, C1-C6 alkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl C1-C6 alkyl, -OR₃, phenyl or phenyl C1-C6 alkyl and X₃ is not methyl, where C1-C6 alkyl is not substituted or is substituted with one, two or three substituents selected from the group consisting of halogen, -OR₃, -O(CO)R₃, -(CO)OR₃, -O-(C1-C6 alkyl)-(CO)OR₃ or -O(CO)(CO)OR₃; X₄ each independently represents -COOR₅; R₃ each independently represents hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl; R₅ each independently represents C1-C6 alkyl. Also disclosed is a compound of formula (I'), where the substitutes Q, Y, Z, X₁, X₂, X₃', X₄ such as are defined in the claims, compound selected from a group of individual compounds, method of producing compounds according to the invention, an herbicidal composition, a method of controlling weeds and using said compounds and compositions for controlling weeds.

EFFECT: compounds of the present invention have high herbicidal activity against cereal weeds, broad-leaved weeds, and so forth even at low application rates, and also have high selectivity to agricultural crops.
