FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a supported metallocene catalyst, a supported metallocene catalyst, as well as a method of producing a polyolefin using said catalyst. Method of producing a supported metallocene catalyst includes the following steps: (i) depositing an aluminium alkyl halide on a silicon dioxide-based support; (ii) applying a cocatalyst compound on a silicon dioxide-based support on which an aluminium alkyl halide is deposited; and (iii) applying a metallocene compound to a support on which an aluminium alkyl halide and a cocatalyst compound are deposited. Invention discloses a supported metallocene catalyst for producing polyolefin and a method of producing polyolefin, comprising a step for polymerising olefin monomers in the presence of said supported metallocene catalyst to obtain polyolefin.

EFFECT: development of a metallocene catalyst on a support, which has excellent activity during polymerisation of olefin and enables to obtain a polyolefin having a homogeneous powder morphology.
