FIELD: fibre-optic technologies.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibre-optic technologies, in particular to a method of tuning and stabilizing temperature of a fibre-optic filter (FOF) based on a fibre Bragg grating (FBG). Device for stabilization and adjustment of the central wavelength of the FOF is a heat spreader, including a portion of an optical fibre with a fibre Bragg grating (FBG) formed in its core, placed inside a heat-conducting inner shell, around which there is an external heat-conducting shell attached to it, forming an air cavity surrounding the inner shell, as well as a wire heating element wound along the surface of the outer shell, connected to the control unit, and a temperature sensor placed on the inner surface of the outer shell on the axis of symmetry of the heat spreader. Inner and outer shells are attached by means of two fastening elements arranged between them, made of material with low coefficient of thermal conductivity and placed on inner shell symmetrically on its opposite edges, fastening elements are made in the form of flanges, which are a flat ring with through holes evenly distributed along the perimeter, wherein the outer diameter of the ring corresponds to the inner diameter of the outer shell, and the inner diameter of the central hole of the ring corresponds to the outer diameter of the inner shell, and the thickness of the ring h is less than the distance from the outer edge of the inner shell to the corresponding edge of the portion of the optical fibre.

EFFECT: reduced amount of electric energy consumed during operation of the device, reduced number of technological operations during assembly and increased reliability of operation due to simple design with fewer elements having simplicity of manufacturing.
