FIELD: performing operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgical production and can be used for production of microactuators and miniature functional elements with shape memory effect (superelasticity). Initial workpiece is used from alloy with composition of nickel Ti – 49.8-50.2 at.% Ni or from alloy with composition of nickel Ti – 50.5-51.0 at.% Ni. Workpiece is subjected to quenching at temperature of 700-900 °C with cooling in water. Multiaxial deformation is carried out at a temperature in the temperature range of 250-450 °C for a workpiece from an alloy with a nickel composition Ti – 49.8-50.2 at.% Ni and at a temperature from the temperature range of 300-500 °C for workpiece from alloy on nickel Ti – 50.5-51.0 at.% Ni. Deformation is carried out for at least 8 reductions with a single relative deformation per reduction of 35-50%.

EFFECT: improved mechanical and functional properties of samples due to formation of nanocrystalline structure in them.
