FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry in production of biocompatible materials and medicine. Method of producing amorphous tricalcium phosphate involves reacting an aqueous solution of calcium chloride and diammonium phosphate in excess ammonia at temperature of 20-25 °C, filtration of the obtained precipitate, washing it with water from chlorine ions. Reaction of the aqueous solution of calcium chloride and diammonium phosphate is carried out for 3-5 minutes. Sediment drying after washing is carried out in two stages: first at 50-100 °C for 25-30 minutes, then at 125-130 °C for 15-20 minutes to residual water content of not more than 3 wt.%.
EFFECT: invention reduces formation of crystalline defective calcium hydroxylapatite (CDCA) during storage of amorphous tricalcium phosphate, increasing its storage life.
