FIELD: biotechnology; medicine.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a tincture having antibacterial action on Candida albicans and Staphylococcus aureus. Infusion is produced by way of pouring 50 g of dried and milled woody sprouts of fanleaf hawthorn with 50 ml of ethyl alcohol 70% in 500 ml flask with maintenance during one day. On the second day, 100 ml of ethyl alcohol 70% is placed in the same flask and infused for two days, on the fourth day, the obtained extract is drained from the flask – the finished product in amount of 100 ml, and a fresh portion of the extractant is again poured in amount of 100 ml, on the sixth day, another 100 ml of the finished product is drained from the flask, combining it with the first portion of the extract, 50 ml of a fresh portion of 70% ethyl alcohol is again poured into the flask and left for a day, on the eighth day, 50 ml of the extract – the ready product is drained, combined with the first two portions, the obtained extract is settled in a cold dark place for 3 days at a temperature not higher than 8 °C, after settling, the infusion is filtered into a dark glass bottle.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce a tincture based on lignified sprouts of fanleaf hawthorn, having antibacterial action on Candida albicans and Staphylococcus aureus.
