SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of payment and control of payment of travel and can be used in public transport. Passenger image is photographed at the moment of successful payment by means of the payment acceptance module of the validator. File of the photographic image is assigned a ticket number (payment number on the given route), and it is placed in the corresponding catalogue of the photographic recording module. Ticket number is displayed on the screen of the monitor of the validator. Controller obtains access to the electronic catalogue of photographic images and controls payment by verifying the passenger's face with the photographic image on the display of the mobile terminal with the image from the file with the ticket number named by the passenger.

EFFECT: improved quality of control of payment of travel in public transport.
