FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry when producing amines. Catalyst suitable for producing organic amines by catalytic amination has an inorganic porous substrate containing aluminium and/or silicon, and an active metal component deposited on the substrate. Active metal component contains at least one metal from group consisting of metals of group VIII and group IB, wherein the substrate has an L-acid content of 85% or more with respect to the total content of L-acid and B-acid. Also disclosed is a method of producing such a catalyst and a method of producing organic amines.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables to obtain a catalyst having improved catalytic activity, reaction conversion, product selectivity and stability.
