SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to hydrogenation catalysts, particularly to a hydrogenation catalyst, production and use thereof. Hydrogenation catalyst comprises a support and a hydrogenating active metal component deposited on the support, wherein the hydrogenating active metal component comprises at least one group VIB metal component and at least one group VIII metal component, wherein the support consists of phosphorus-containing aluminium oxide; when measuring a hydrogenation catalyst using a temperature-programmed hydrogen reduction (H2-TPR) method, ratio of the low-temperature recovery peak height, Plow-temp peak, at temperature of 300-500 °C to the high-temperature recovery peak height, Phi-temp peak, at temperature of 650-850 °C, i.e. S=Plow-temp peak/Phi-temp peak, is 0.5-2.0. Invention also discloses a phosphorus-containing pseudoboehmite suitable for producing a hydrogenation catalyst, a method of producing said phosphorus-containing pseudoboehmite, a method of producing said hydrogenation catalyst and use of the catalyst in hydrogenating liquid petroleum products.
EFFECT: obtaining a catalyst having good hydrogenation activity and high stability.
