FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of cleaning natural gas from acid fractions. Invention can be used for removal of hydrogen sulphide and carbon dioxide from natural gas. Proposed method of cleaning natural gas from acid fractions includes the following stages: supply of inlet natural gas flow to mass exchange column, in which the inlet gas stream is divided into a gas depleted in acid fractions, taken from the top of the column, and a liquid rich in acid fractions, taken from the bottom of the mass exchange column; heating of gas depleted with acid fractions, taken from the top of the column in at least one heat exchanger, with its subsequent compression in a compressor, successive cooling in a cooling apparatus and a heat exchanger, expansion and supply of the formed two-phase flow to the upper part of the mass-exchange column. Compressor capacity is selected so that gas flow rate through it is at least 1.7 times higher than flow rate of inlet natural gas.
EFFECT: simplified design of natural gas treatment plant.
