FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seismology and can be used to predict an approaching seismic event on the territory of the Bishkek geodynamic test site based on monitoring of strain-sensitive (indicator) sections of deep rock mass, electrical properties of which are especially sensitive to variations of stress state in source zones. According to the disclosed solution, using a network of measuring stations located on the territory of the landfill, monitoring of the non-stationary electric field of the earthed electric line. For each of the stations, daily average values of three indicators are calculated: the time of arrival of the maximum of the daily average signal at the measurement point, the volt-time characteristic of the average daily pulse, the average confidence interval of daily observations. Based on the daily average values of each of the indicators, a time series is constructed and a single and group comparative analysis of the time dynamics of the values of the indicators is carried out for the entire set of available stations in order to identify time-synchronized anomalies of a stable form, which are considered as a single three-component signature of a geological substance reacting to the preparation of a seismotectonic event, based on which a conclusion is made on its approach.
EFFECT: elimination of restrictions on assessment of fracturing of geological massif and localization in space of its elements sensitive to tectonic events.
