FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: conrod-free engine includes housing (1), cylinders (2), pistons (3) rigidly fixed on rods (4), output shaft (5) and at least one mechanism for conversion of translational movement of pistons into rotary movement of output shaft (5). Conversion mechanism includes: crown gear (6) fixed in housing (1), drive gear (7) attached to rod (4) with possibility of eccentric rotation, located eccentrically inside crown gear (6) and having two times less teeth than crown gear (6), at least one first satellite gear (8) of external engagement, located inside crown gear (6), which is in engagement with drive gear (7), at least one second satellite gear (9) of external engagement arranged inside crown gear (6) on the side opposite to the centre of drive gear (7) and engaged with first satellite gear (8) and with crown gear (6), carrier (10) connecting axes of first (8) and second (9) satellites, and distribution gear (11) located on central shaft (12), rigidly connected to carrier (10) and engaged with gear (17) of output shaft (5).
EFFECT: reduced load on gear teeth of mechanism, reduced requirements to their materials and accuracy of their manufacturing.
