FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, namely to systems and devices for signalling and recording concentration of hazardous gases in mine atmosphere. System for monitoring and recording concentration of hazardous gases includes a gas analyser consisting of a concentration sensor, an amplifying-converting device, a logic control system in the form of a microcontroller and an alarm device. Additionally, it comprises video recorder electrically connected to gas analyser. In the housing of the gas analyser there is an accumulator, a concentration sensor protected by an element for disconnecting the sensor power supply when the safe range of gas concentration is exceeded, and alarm elements with at least two actuation thresholds. Concentration of hazardous gases is continuously monitored by a diffusion method based on a thermocatalytic measurement principle. When the concentrations set in the microcontroller are exceeded, an alarm is triggered, and the values of the measured readings in the form of encoded information are transmitted to the video recorder, which stores the image on the solid-state drive in the form of a video stream with concentration values superimposed on the recording frames.
