FIELD: ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition of artillery weapons, having both axial and circular field of destruction, in particular, to design of fragmentation projectiles of directed action. It can be used to hit unarmoured vehicles. Shrapnel-type artillery shell with a remotely controlled fuse comprises a body with a belt made from alloy steel, which is a cup with a fused copper guide belt, inside which a remote controlled fuse is installed, as well as a breaking device; a bushing made from aluminium deformable alloys, which is a bushing with a hexagonal chamber for placing a unit of finished striking elements made from a tungsten-based heavy alloy; pressing bushing with possibility of preloading of finished striking elements; tip installed in the projectile nose on the pressing bushing.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of hitting small-sized air targets.
