FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of blast-furnace production of cast iron and can be used for rapid assessment of erosion of a hearth. Method is carried out by a computer device using an evaluation model which determines the shape of the hearth erosion by means of online calculation of three-dimensional heat transfer of finite elements. Decision is made based on the result of the root-mean-square deviation rms between the calculated value and the measured value of the temperature measurement point.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining erosion.
