FIELD: tools for drilling machines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cutting tools, particularly, to annular drills for annular drilling, and can be used in formation of narrow-profile deep annular groove of large diameter of more than 400 mm in elements of steel structures of nuclear machine building. Annular damping drill comprises integral housing, connected to the shank, with blades and internal supply of lubricant-coolant and cutters with replaceable disposable hard-alloy plates installed in end of housing. In ends of blades there are holes in which damping rods are installed. A damping support ring from alloy “01Ю5Т” is bolted on the rear surface of the housing. Damping rods consist of an outer shell made of iron-based alloys and an inner insert made of material with specific weight greater than that of the material of said outer shell.
EFFECT: higher vibration resistance during drilling.
