FIELD: ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to military equipment, in particular to ammunition for rifled small arms intended for destruction of unmanned aerial vehicles and enemy manpower in assault. Ammunition contains a case with a barrel, a propellant powder charge, a primer-igniter and a bullet having a shell consisting of a pointed head part, a leading cylindrical part and a tail part, in which there is a power support bushing, in which an incendiary compound is located, a retarder with an expelling charge. Expelling charge is overlapped by the piston, on the curved surface of the pushing part of which the steel cores with the pointed warheads rest. Sharpened head part of the bullet shell is made of a material capable of being destroyed by the sharpened head parts of the steel cores when they are pushed by the pushing part of the piston.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase density of fire on dispersed manpower at short distances both with provision of destructive action of bullet, and provision of non-destructive action of bullet without lethal damage to manpower, increase the probability of hitting single and group enemy manpower, reduce the consumption of ammunition for hitting the enemy manpower in an assault, increase the probability of hitting moving unmanned aerial vehicles at short distances.
