SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry, namely to use of the composition in a method of reducing local inflammation. Use of the composition in a method of reducing local inflammation, comprising: administering to a patient in need thereof a therapeutically effective dose of the composition, wherein composition contains water-alcohol extract of caraway (Carum carvi) seeds and water-alcoholic extract of rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) leaves. wherein the caraway (Carum carvi) seed extract is present in concentration of 50 to 350 mcg/ml and rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) leaf extract is present at concentration of 0.5 to 25 mcg/ml.
EFFECT: above described composition is effective for reducing local inflammation, synergistically inhibits CCR2 receptors and reduces release of IL-6 and IL-8.
