FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway track construction and repair, particularly, to continuous welded track laying. According to the rail strings movement method during their welding and laying in the track, the parallel rail strings are drawn from the train, they are fixed in guiding trays with anti-edging devices on the module with further processing during butt welding. In the process of drawing pairs of rail strings, they are displaced in the transverse direction by means of movable guide trays with anti-edging devices and fixed, thereafter, the first module is used to weld rail strings of one rail line located in the middle of the working zone of this welding module. Then rail strings are transferred to second welding module with transverse displacement in opposite direction, where, after their fixation, the rail strings of the other rail thread located in the middle of the welding zone of the second welding module are welded. Further, welded rail strings of both rail lines are transferred to an anti-edging platform with a guide apparatus of the rail carrier for further laying on the track.

EFFECT: as a result, it becomes possible to simultaneously weld parallel rail lines on two welding modules with a cover.
