FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to digital signal processing. Method of correcting the transfer characteristic of a physical quantity converter is carried out by measuring the output voltage of the physical quantity converter and a temperature converter located in the immediate vicinity of the physical quantity converter, conversion of obtained voltage values into digital form using analogue-to-digital converter, processing of obtained values of digital code in microcontroller using polynomial function of special type with dimension M as per temperature and N as per acting physical quantity. At that, preliminary calibration procedure is carried out, during which external action on physical quantity transducer and temperature transducer is set in the form of pairs of physical quantity and temperature values, wherein the number of pairs of values of the physical quantity and temperature is M × N, and the output voltage of the physical quantity converter and the temperature converter is measured, after measurement, performing conversion of output voltage values into digital code, after which calibration coefficients of polynomial function of special type are determined, and processing pairs of values of the digital code of the physical quantity and temperature, taking into account the calculated coefficients of the polynomial function of a special type.

EFFECT: high accuracy of digital processing and reduced error in the transfer characteristic of a physical quantity sensor implemented using a physical quantity transducer.
