FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for express visual detection of underground leakage of liquid fuels and lubricants in soil. Device is made collapsible in the form of steel pipe (1), inside which there is metal cylindrical rod (2). Cylindrical rod (2) is connected to cylindrical nozzle (7), which is connected to conical tip (10). Conical tip (10) is connected to indicator element (12). Indicator element (12) includes indicator from dye Sudan IV, soluble in liquid hydrocarbon fuel, but not soluble in water.
EFFECT: wider range of determined oil products, broader functional capabilities of the device, high sensitivity and efficiency of detection.
