FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of combustion of suspension fuels, including coal-water fuel, involves supply of fuel to muffle furnaces of a boiler using fuel pneumatic nozzles and introduction of additional air into furnaces. Supply of suspension fuel into muffle furnaces of boiler is carried out in stages, with reduction of fuel additive in its composition, wherein fuel combustion is carried out at a temperature which is higher than the melting point of the slag formed during fuel combustion, wherein the temperature in the muffle furnaces of the boiler ranges from 1000 to 1700°C. Portion of fuel supplied to the first muffle furnace of the boiler in the direction of combustion products movement in the boiler is from 5 to 50% of the total consumption of suspension fuel burnt in the boiler equipment. Ratio of air and fuel flow rates supplied to boiler furnaces varies from 2 to 6.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to ensure continuous removal of slag from muffle furnaces of the boiler, to increase quality of combustion of suspension fuels and reliability of the fuel combustion process in furnaces of boiler equipment, as well as duration of operation of equipment until scheduled repair.
