FIELD: measuring; performing operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of agglomerate and pellets from ore, including iron-ore, and non-metallic raw materials due to heat treatment on conveyor machine, due to suction or blowing of gases through layer. To control gas permeability and measure gas flow through the layer, pressure gauges are used above the layer of material, measurement of gas pressure is carried out using a constricting measuring device mounted in the grate field of the trolley so that gas inlet is carried out in the direction of flow movement after passing through the treated layer when gas moves from top to bottom or before passing through the treated layer when moving from bottom to top. Narrowing measuring device is equipped with gas taps, through which pressure drop is measured when the gas flow passes through it. Taps are connected to pressure gauges which measure excess static pressure and pressure drop across the narrowing measuring device. Information from the pressure gauges is transmitted to the microcontroller with the possibility of recording measurement results into memory. Flow rate is calculated in the microcontroller based on pressure measurements at two points.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of controlling gas permeability and measuring gas flow through a layer during heat treatment on a conveyor machine.
