SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology and can be used in medicine. Invention discloses conformationally limited forms of short/truncated versions of peptides (SEQ ID NO: 1-9), while preserving the biological function of the full-size protein, but capable of incorporation or penetration through the cell membrane. In some embodiments, the composition contains a conformationally restricted Lacripep salt™.
EFFECT: compositions containing peptides according to the present invention can be used for treating various eye diseases, including Sjögren's syndrome.
