FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method of closing stubble of tall plants into soil includes stubble bending and keeping it in horizontal position, grinding into fractions and treatment of soil without turning after the process of grinding by working elements. Prior to milling, stubble is cut longitudinally, and shoots and root system are separated. Initial breaking stress of stubble of tall plants at its bending is preliminary determined. Then, a colour image of the stubble of tall plants after harvesting is obtained by means of a multimedia device, transferred to a computer and the outline of the obtained colour image of the stubble is outlined in Compass 3D VI8 program with cdw file resolution. Processed image is loaded into the APM WinMachine program with the APM SHAFT module. Stubble model is obtained in the form of a fixed rod with a lower end. Rod loading is set as per the found value of initial breaking stress at bending, load on rod is simulated, which is uniformly distributed along its entire length. Static calculation of the rod is carried out and the results of the calculation of the rod are output in the form of a map of distribution of equivalent breaking stresses with a percentage ratio of the length of the rod corresponding to the length of the stubble, and coloured sections of the rod. Height of the working element is selected, which is represented by a battery of discs consisting of wavy discs, between which a needle disc with blades is placed for destruction of stubble according to the colour according to the map of distribution of equivalent destructive stresses.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of stubble sealing due to optimum arrangement of the working element in height with due allowance for initial destructive stress of stubble of tall plants.
