TRAINING SET OF MODELS OF CHROMOSOMES FOR DEMONSTRATION OF TRANSLOCATION Russian patent published in 2025 - IPC G09B23/28

Abstract RU 2838218 C1

FIELD: educating.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of training in cytogenetics. Teaching set of models of chromosomes for demonstrating translocation includes a model of chromosome from assembled modules imitating arms of a volumetric model of chromosome and each consisting of removable upper and lower containers installed one into another with formation of a free cavity between them and with possibility of relative movement, wherein the upper containers of the modules are equipped with threaded necks, connected to each other by means of a double-sided connecting coupling, simulating the centromere of the chromosome, an additional chromosome model and a support with fixators in the form of a bracket-holder from an elastic material, fixed on its reverse side and installed horizontally in the area of chromosome centromeres. Models of chromosomes are made of different colours and fixed on a substrate with the help of fixators with possibility of their withdrawal for transfer of upper capacities of one chromosome model to an additional model, and its upper capacities to the first model to obtain two-colour models imitating chromosomal mutation.

EFFECT: high quality of training by demonstrating chromosome mutation by changing the structure of three-dimensional models of chromosomes.
