FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to experimental oncology. After removal of soft tissue sarcoma, visual inspection of blood supply vessels is performed, tumour fragment on vascular pedicle, artery and vein is isolated. Skin is incised parallel to the neurovascular bundle on the inner surface of the thigh of the mouse sized from a hip joint to a knee joint of the animal. Neurovascular bundle of the thigh is separated to the level of the knee joint, the femur is transected in the upper one-third, and at the level of the middle one-third of the thigh, the vascular pedicle of the tumour is sutured with the femoral artery and vein of the animal. Transplanted tumour is covered with a skin flap and skin sutures are applied.
EFFECT: method enables creating an orthotopic patient-like model of human soft tissue sarcoma (STS) having structural and physiological features reflecting a similar pattern of bone tumour formation for further study of the pathogenesis of the disease.
